In 1968, Martin H. Weaver started a small kitchen manufacturing company in Brownstown, PA. This small community, in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Dutch Country, was the perfect location to produce handcrafted, custom kitchens. Generations of highly-skilled woodworkers and craftsmen in the area traced their heritage to England, Germany, Holland, and France.

Weaver’s dream was to create an honest product, built with integrity and pride. Hence the straightforward name, Quality Custom Kitchens. Working in a 2,200 square foot facility with two employees, Weaver set a modest goal of building one custom kitchen a day for local residents.

Under the name Quality Custom Cabinetry, Inc., or QCCI, Martin H. Weaver’s dream lives on. Today, the QCCI manufacturing facility totals 126,000 square feet. More than 100 craftsmen and craftswomen create high end, custom cabinetry at a rate that is well beyond Weaver’s most ambitious dreams.

Quality is one way in which QCCI sets itself apart from the rest of the custom cabinet industry. The attention to detail that goes into every product is quite simply unmatched. We understand that this will be in a home for years to come so we want our finishes to feel better and last longer. We want our door hinges to operate silently and for doors to automatically close gently. We include these types of features on every cabinet, because only the best will do for our customers’ homes.

QCCI makes all-wood cabinetry is from the finest wood species, designed and engineered for durability. All interiors are finished and all sides and floors are flush sanded by hand. QCCI uses furniture-style construction methods, including all-wood cabinet boxes and frames, robust joinery, and gorgeous finishes. The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer’s Association developed the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) to encourage practices that benefit the environment and society.
